World Fest — performing arts residency touring program

About this program

Arts Midwest, a nonprofit organization, offers the World Fest performing arts residency program, which brings world music ensembles to Midwest communities to promote cultural understanding and appreciation. Supported by the National Endowment for the Arts and state arts councils, the program focuses on rural areas and has reached over 650,000 individuals since 2003. Eligibility is limited to organizations in the nine Midwest states, with a priority on partnering with one organization per state, particularly in rural communities. The 2024-2025 artist tours are now closed for applications.
