About this program
The Cancer Research Foundation offers Young Investigator Awards—$100,000 research grants paid in two installments—to support promising early-career scientists pursuing independent cancer research and to help generate preliminary data for competing for larger grants. Awards are intended for men and women in the first years of their initial faculty appointment (instructor or assistant professor) who have not yet received significant external support at the time of submission. Applicants must follow the Foundation’s annual submission guidelines (published each summer) and submit in time for review at the Foundation’s winter Board meeting.
