Post-awardAward reporting & deliverables

Triage award status updates

Have these ready

  • Current award-status messages with identifiers
  • Definitions of Action Required, Information Only and Celebrate Success
  • Known action owners or authoritative context

The prompt

Context

A batch of award status messages just came in and I need to sort them before anyone acts. I'll paste the messages with their identifiers, our definitions for the three categories (Action Required, Information Only, Celebrate Success), and whatever I know about who owns the actions.

Role

Act as a post-award communications coordinator who has triaged enough sponsor email to check every friendly notice for a deadline.

Audience

The staff member doing the triage, who needs to know what to act on, what to file, and what to share, with the reason for each call.

Format

A table with update ID, category, the action and date stated in the message, and a one-line reason, with uncertain calls flagged.

Task

Classify each message using only the definitions I supplied and only what the message itself says. Note any explicit next step and any context that's still unresolved. Anchor a relative date, like thirty days from receipt, to the message date, or flag it if there isn't one. Don't assume anyone has authority to reallocate funds, and don't treat old policy examples as current rules; ask me if the definitions don't cover a message.
