2025 Community Grants

About this program

RTW Foundation’s 2025 Community Grants fund partnerships with local organizations to advance health equity in New York City, supporting community-based health services, connections to no-/low-cost care and insurance, health-system equity work, and action-oriented health equity research. First-time partners may request up to $50,000 and returning grantees up to $100,000 for projects of up to one year (returning partners may receive up to three consecutive years of funding). Eligibility is limited to 501(c)(3) nonprofits based in the five boroughs, with priority for small local organizations with annual operating budgets of $5M or less. Applicants must demonstrate localized, inclusive leadership, a clear project plan with defined roles, measurable impact and sustainability, and provide a detailed, itemized budget.
