The AAAAI Foundation and the American Lung Association jointly fund the 2026 AAAAI/ALA Allergic Respiratory Diseases Research Award to support investigator-led research on allergic respiratory diseases by faculty in allergy‑immunology divisions. The award provides $75,000 total paid over two years and may be used for salary, laboratory supplies, and other laboratory expenses; institutional indirect (F&A) costs are not allowable. Applicants must hold a primary faculty appointment in an allergy‑immunology division; applications are reviewed by the AAAAI Grant Review Committee with final approval by the AAAAI Board of Directors, and partner organizations participate in selection for collaborative awards.
