2026 LCRF | AstraZeneca Research Award — Strategies Towards Improving the Treatment of Small Cell Lung Cancer

Lung Cancer Research Foundation (LCRF), in collaboration with AstraZeneca, is launching two SCLC-focused awards: a $500,000, three-year grant to advance novel strategies for improving small cell lung cancer treatment (including correlative translational research) and a $250,000, two-year grant to develop patient advocacy strategies that improve outcomes across the care continuum. Funded work should address critical unmet needs in SCLC—ranging from biomarker-driven therapeutic development to advocacy-driven efforts that increase research activity, quality of life, and survivorship. Requests for proposals and formal eligibility criteria will be posted on LCRF.org/RFPlist in the coming months; prospective applicants should monitor that page and prepare submissions from investigators or organizations capable of conducting translational SCLC research or advocacy programs.
