2027 IMPACT GRANTS - Track 1: Research grant or fellowship projects

About this program

The Prevent Cancer Foundation’s 2027 Impact Grants (Track 1) will fund innovative research grants or fellowships focused on cancers without guideline-recommended screening—such as blood, bone, brain/CNS, esophageal, head-and-neck, liver, ovarian, pancreatic, sarcomas, stomach, and uterine cancers—to advance prevention, early detection, risk stratification, or novel screening approaches. Awards are $50,000 per year for two years ($100,000 total); applications open April 8, 2026 and are due May 20, 2026, with decisions by December 4, 2026 and projects beginning January 15, 2027. Applicant institutions or organizations must be based in the United States (distinct EINs define an institution) and are limited to three research submissions per institution; individual applicants need not be U.S. citizens. Projects focused on implementation science or population health that work with a specific community must include a Community Advisory Board component.
