About this program
The Allegheny-Erie Regional Chapter of the Society of Toxicology offers up to $1,000 to support an undergraduate or graduate student’s original thesis, dissertation, summer, or other toxicology research project. Proposals are evaluated primarily on study design, educational environment, and clarity, with funds awarded to the student’s institution on the student’s behalf.
Applicants must be A-E SOT members in good standing or apply for membership, conduct research at an eligible facility within the chapter’s geographic boundaries, and have an eligible A-E SOT mentor who submits a support letter. Recipients must use the funds solely for their project and present the research at an A-E SOT Spring Meeting when applicable; applications are due June 1, 2026.
