A-T Children's Project Research Grants

About this program

The A-T Children’s Project offers one- or two-year grants of up to $75,000 in direct costs per year for innovative translational and clinical research on ataxia-telangiectasia (A-T), particularly neurological disease-modifying or symptom-improving strategies. Academic and industry investigators may apply, with priority given to rigorous projects demonstrating clear therapeutic relevance or producing tools that accelerate treatment development. Funding is limited to direct project costs and excludes overhead, administrative, and indirect expenses; applicants must submit a letter of intent before an invited full proposal, with proposals reviewed on a rolling basis. Researchers must begin work within six months of the grant start date and submit progress reports every six months.
