A-T Children's Project Research Grants

About this program

The A-T Children’s Project offers one- or two-year research grants of up to $75,000 annually in direct costs for innovative translational and clinical studies addressing ataxia-telangiectasia, particularly neurological symptoms and treatment development. Early-stage discovery research may be considered when it clearly enables therapeutic advances, such as validating targets, biomarkers, or treatment tools. Applicants must submit a Letter of Intent before being invited to submit a full proposal; projects may be conducted in academic or industry settings but must be rigorous, novel, clinically relevant, and able to begin within six months of the grant start date. Indirect, administrative, and overhead costs are not allowable, and progress reports are required every six months.
