AACPDM Mentored Research Grant

About this program

The American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM) offers annual Research Grants, including a $15,000 Mentored Research Grant, to support pilot clinical research, project planning, statistical consultation, and development of multicenter studies in childhood-onset disabilities. The 12-month award period runs from October 2026 through September 2027, with applications due April 15, 2026. Applicants must be AACPDM members in good standing with a research or relevant clinical degree, have no prior federal or non-institutional grant exceeding $50,000 in annual direct costs, and identify a qualified mentor and supportive research environment. Applications must include a one-page mentoring and training plan; international applicants are eligible, and indirect costs are not allowed.
