AAH Meeting Subvention Grant

About this program

The American Association of Hispanists (AAH) offers meeting subvention grants to help support members’ participation in its meetings, with one annual recipient also receiving the Betty Coate Award and recognition at the conference. Applicants must be AAH members, although membership may be obtained at any time, and must be advanced graduate students or junior faculty in the early stages of their careers. Preference is given to applicants who have not previously received a subvention award, and members may receive no more than two awards. Applications are due at the end of January, with decisions announced by February 15; recipients are expected to attend the AAH business meeting.
