About this program
The Aplastic Anemia and MDS International Foundation (AAMDSIF) offers 2026 Research Grants to advance understanding and treatment of aplastic anemia, myelodysplastic syndromes/neoplasms, and paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria. Three projects will receive $80,000 over two years, including two grants for work on any of the eligible disorders and one focused specifically on aplastic anemia. Applicants must be new investigators—postdoctoral fellows, instructors, or assistant professors with fewer than five years in rank—and must submit a letter of intent by June 30, 2026, before being invited to submit a full application by October 31, 2026.
