AAOA Foundation Research Award

About this program

The American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy Foundation offers Research Awards to support studies addressing the pathogenesis, diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of otolaryngic allergy and related conditions. Awards provide up to $10,000 in direct costs for one year, with two to eight projects funded annually; applications are accepted by June 1 and December 1. Residents and medical students are encouraged to apply, and the principal investigator or key personnel must be current AAOA members in good standing or applicants for membership. Proposals must include a research plan, abstract, references, and detailed budget, and funded investigators must present results at an AAOA scientific meeting and submit a manuscript to the International Forum of Allergy and Rhinology.
