About this program
The American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA) Foundation funds basic and translational research that advances knowledge and improves patient care in otolaryngic allergy and related conditions. Proposals are reviewed twice annually, with deadlines of June 1 and December 1; awardees must present results at an AAOA meeting and submit a manuscript to the International Forum of Allergy & Rhinology. Funding is open to any investigator whose research aligns with the Foundation’s scope, including researchers affiliated with academic or otolaryngology training programs. Applications must be submitted through the AAOA Foundation’s online portal.
