AAP Foundation Fellowship to the Institute for Teaching & Learning in the Health Professions

About this program

The American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) Foundation offers up to five annual $3,500 fellowships covering full tuition for the Academy for Academic Leadership’s Institute for Teaching and Learning in the Health Professions Program for Dental School Faculty. The program develops teaching, academic, and career-planning skills through faculty training, interactive learning, mentoring, and teaching experiences. Periodontists in private practice interested in part- or full-time teaching, as well as periodontal postdoctoral faculty, are encouraged to apply. Applications are submitted directly to the Academy for Academic Leadership by April 30, with applicants indicating their interest in the AAP Foundation Fellowship in their application letter.
