AAP Foundation Fellowship to the Institute for Teaching & Learning in the Health Professions

About this program

The American Academy of Periodontology Foundation offers fellowships through the Academy for Academic Leadership’s Institute for Teaching and Learning in the Health Professions. Each $3,500 award covers full tuition for the Program for Dental School Faculty, which provides training in teaching, academic skills, career planning, and faculty development. Periodontists in private practice interested in teaching part- or full-time, as well as periodontal postdoctoral faculty, are encouraged to apply. Applications are submitted directly to the Academy for Academic Leadership by April 30, with applicants indicating fellowship interest in their application letter; up to five fellowships are awarded annually.
