AAPHD Foundation Small Grants Program

About this program

The AAPHD Foundation offers one-year Small Grants of up to $5,000 to support innovative education or research projects that benefit dental public health and generate pilot data to support larger funding applications. Projects must align with the Foundation’s goals—disease prevention and health promotion, public and professional education, and expansion of dental public health knowledge and competency—and priority topics include improving access to oral health services, workforce strengthening, translating science into practice, and maintaining competency. Eligible applicants are individuals, with priority for early-career dental public health professionals, DPH residency students completing required research, and members of AAPHD Student Chapters; proposals that leverage partnerships with existing programs or organizations are favored.
