Academic Enrichment Grants

About this program

McCarthey Dressman Education Foundation's Academic Enrichment Grants fund in-class and extracurricular programs that deepen student learning, foster understanding and creativity, and broaden awareness for children from low-income households, providing individual educators up to $10,000 per year (maximum $20,000 over two years). Applications are accepted online each year from January 15 to April 15 (or until 200 submissions are received); cycles may close when capacity is reached and funded applicants must submit an annual progress report. Eligible applicants are individual educators employed by schools or nonprofit organizations (e.g., community centers, museums) who work directly and regularly with pre-K–12 low-income students, have the experience to complete the project, agree to collaborate with the Foundation, and must apply in the name of one individual even if multiple participants are involved.
