ACG Early Career Leadership Program

About this program

The American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) Institute’s Early Career Leadership Program develops future clinical gastroenterology leaders through training in leadership, networking, advocacy, policy, emotional intelligence, and team building. The no-fee, invitation-only program includes pre-work, an in-person course in Washington, DC, virtual follow-ups, and participation in the ACG Governors’ advocacy fly-in. Applicants must be ACG member physicians in good standing practicing in the United States who completed GI or hepatology fellowship and are within their first five years of clinical practice. Applications require a curriculum vitae, online form, and nomination responses from a qualified individual familiar with the applicant’s leadership potential, with selection emphasizing leadership and public-policy interest and commitment to required travel.
