ACS DIC Student Travel Award Program

About this program

The ACS Division of Inorganic Chemistry (DIC) offers $450 travel awards to undergraduate and graduate students presenting research talks or posters in the DIC program at ACS National Meetings. Applications are evaluated by career stage and scientific merit, with preference for students who have not previously received the award; deadlines are February 1 for the spring meeting and June 29 for the fall meeting. Applicants must be current ACS DIC members, present their work at the meeting, and submit a complete application including proof of membership, an abstract, a two-page CV, and a research advisor recommendation letter. Only one nomination per research group is accepted for each meeting, except for collaborative projects.
