ACS DIC Student Travel Award Program

About this program

The American Chemical Society Division of Inorganic Chemistry (DIC) offers $450 Student Travel Awards to undergraduate and graduate students who will present research talks or posters in the DIC program at ACS National Meetings. Applications are due February 1 for the Spring meeting and June 29 for the Fall meeting (winners notified March 1 and July 15), and awards are judged on scientific merit with separate review categories for undergraduates, early-stage (first two years) PhD students, and final-stage PhD students, with preference given to first-time recipients. Applicants must be current ACS/DIC members and must be presenting in the DIC program; required materials include proof of membership, the DIC abstract, a résumé/CV (maximum two pages, PDF), and an advisor recommendation letter (PDF), and only one nomination per research group is accepted except for collaborative projects.
