ACS/ASBrS International Scholarship

About this program

The American College of Surgeons offers the ACS/ASBrS International Scholarship, a $5,000 award that enables a surgeon working in breast cancer surgery outside the United States and Canada (preference for applicants from developing nations) to attend the 27th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Breast Surgeons (April 29–May 3, 2026) in Seattle, including complimentary meeting registration, one postgraduate course (restrictions apply), and an invitation to visit NAPBC headquarters in Chicago. Award administration will assist in obtaining preferential economical hotel housing, but hotel and travel expenses are the awardee’s responsibility and should be funded from the scholarship. Eligible applicants must be surgeons practicing breast cancer surgery outside the U.S. and Canada and satisfy all selection committee requirements, with priority given to candidates from developing countries.
