Action Grants

About this program

Humanities New York is offering Action Grants to support organizations in New York State that creatively engage with the humanities to address contemporary issues and engage their communities. These grants, up to $15,000, are intended for projects that foster community-building, strengthen partnerships, and diversify audiences. Eligible applicants include any tax-exempt organization serving New York State, with a focus on those able to demonstrate a strong connection to the community and a project team that includes humanities expertise.
