Addressing Health Disparities Research Grant

About this program

The Pediatric Endocrine Society offers the Addressing Health Disparities Research Grant to support innovative research and education addressing disparities in pediatric endocrine care, outcomes, and their underlying causes. Awards provide up to $50,000 in total costs for one year, with no more than 10% allocated to institutional direct costs. Eligible applicants are PES members in good standing who are in the second or third year of fellowship or are early-stage faculty at or below the rank of Assistant Professor and hold an MD, DO, or equivalent degree; U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is not required. Applications require a Division Chief’s support letter, career development and research plans, budget justification, and, for fellows, an appropriate mentoring committee.
