About this program

The AEG Foundation offers grants to support field trips with a geoscience focus, promoting diversity in the field. Public, private, and charter school students can apply for funding to cover expenses such as transportation, meals, and admission fees, with a preference for out-of-school hours.

Eligible applicants must ensure a diverse student group, with a focus on Black, Hispanic, Latino/a, Pacific Islander, and Native American heritage, and the field trip itinerary must include specific geoscience-related activities and discussions.
