AHNS Endocrine Surgery Section Eisai Research Award

About this program

The Endocrine Section of the American Head & Neck Society (AHNS), sponsored by Eisai and the Stryker Foundation, offers a one-year non-renewable research award of $10,000 to support basic, translational, or clinical research that advances the AHNS Endocrine Section’s mission. Funded projects must address prevention, diagnosis, treatment, outcomes, or pathophysiology of endocrine diseases of the head and neck. Eligible applicants include medical students focused on otolaryngology, otolaryngology residents, PhD candidates, or faculty in otolaryngology departments, with preference for early-stage investigators (within 10 years of terminal degree or fellowship) or established investigators initiating a new line of inquiry needing pilot data. Previous AHNS or AAO‑HNS Foundation grant recipients may apply, but projects already funded by another private or federal source are ineligible; one award is available for the year.
