AI and Society Post-doctoral Fellowship Program

The New York Academy of Sciences, in partnership with Arizona State University’s School for the Future of Innovation in Society, offers a postdoctoral AI and Society Fellowship to cultivate multidisciplinary scholars who integrate technical AI research with social science and humanities perspectives to address ethical and societal impacts of AI. Fellows participate in a curated research program splitting time between New York City, Arizona State University, and on-site internships, working alongside experienced academic, industry, and policy researchers. Applicants must hold a PhD in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, AI, psychology, philosophy, sociology, ethics, law/JD or related disciplines) and demonstrate a strong research background in AI and society; publications in leading journals are recommended.
