About this program
The editorial board of The American Journal of Human Genetics annually selects two trainee-authored AJHG papers from the previous year for the AJHG Award for Outstanding Trainee Publication, each carrying a $1,000 prize and a certificate presented at the ASHG Annual Meeting. Nominees must be first authors on an AJHG paper published in the prior year, be a predoctoral or postdoctoral trainee, and be members of the American Society of Human Genetics. The award was formerly known as the AJHG C.W. Cotterman Award.
