Alkermes’ Investigator Sponsored Studies (ISS) program supports independent U.S.-based clinical and scientific research aligned with its areas of interest, including sleep disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar I disorder, and aripiprazole lauroxil. Support may include marketed products and financial assistance, with study budgets capped at $300,000 including overhead; submissions are accepted on a rolling basis and may involve interventional, observational, registry, chart review, or secondary research. Applicants may include MDs, PhDs, PAs, PharmDs, NPs, and RNs, and requests must be submitted by the clinician or scientist through Alkermes’ online portal in concept form. Alkermes typically favors experienced researchers with a successful record of independently funded research and does not currently accept ISS proposals focused on substance use disorders.
