AMATYC Foundation Grants

About this program

The AMATYC Foundation supports individuals and organizations teaching or supporting mathematics during the first two years of college, funding projects aligned with AMATYC’s mission and strategic plan. Proposals are accepted year-round while funds remain available, with awards generally ranging from $1,000 or less to $2,500. Applicants should preferably be AMATYC members and must submit a proposal describing the project, qualifications, need, objectives, methods, evaluation plan, sustainability, timeline, and itemized budget. Funding decisions consider project value, feasibility, mission alignment, and available resources, with reporting and dissemination required for funded projects.
