American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy Foundation Research Award

About this program

The American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy Foundation offers annual Research Awards of up to $10,000 in direct costs for one-year, non-renewable projects addressing the pathogenesis, diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of otolaryngic allergy. Approximately two to eight awards are available annually, with research required to have a primary allergy endpoint or substantial relevance to the AAOA. Residents and medical students are encouraged to apply, and the principal investigator or key personnel must be current AAOA members in good standing or applicants for membership. Proposals must include an abstract, research plan, references, and detailed budget, and successful recipients must present results at an AAOA scientific meeting and submit a manuscript to the International Forum of Allergy & Rhinology.
