American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy Foundation Research Award

About this program

The American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy Foundation offers Research Awards to support one-year studies on the pathogenesis, diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of otolaryngic allergy, with up to $10,000 in direct costs per project and two to eight awards anticipated annually. Projects must include a primary allergy endpoint or be of substantial importance to the AAOA. Residents and medical students are encouraged to apply, and the principal investigator or key personnel must be current AAOA members in good standing or active membership candidates. Applications require an abstract, four-page research plan, references, budget, and justification; submission deadlines are June 1 and December 1, and funded results must be presented at an AAOA scientific meeting and submitted for publication.
