The American SIDS Institute is soliciting Letters of Intent for research grants addressing sudden unexpected infant death (SUID), with successful proposals funded at $70,000 total over two years. Research areas of interest include pathology, physiology, neonatology, cardiology, epidemiology, and related SUID topics. Applicants must hold a faculty appointment or equivalent at a U.S.-based university, hospital, research institution, or medical examiner's office. LOIs will be reviewed by the Institute's Research Council and investigators with well-defined, high-priority LOIs will be invited to submit full grant applications.
