About this program
The Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) Young Investigator Award recognizes three trainee members who submit outstanding abstracts describing original basic or applied molecular pathology research and present it as a poster at the AMP Annual Meeting & Expo. Applications open April 1 and are due June 30. Eligible applicants are AMP-member students, postdoctoral fellows, or residents who are first authors of their abstracts and agree to attend the Business/Awards Session to accept the award in person. Submissions are judged on originality, significance, focused rationale, experimental design and controls, analytical rigor, and clarity of poster and oral presentation.
