AMS Microscopy Training Funds

About this program

The American Microscopical Society offers Microscopy Training Funds of up to $1,000 to support graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, regular members, and AMS members organizing public workshops in microscopy and imaging techniques. Funds may cover training fees, supplies, equipment use, and eligible travel, but not conference travel or publication costs. Applicants must submit a current two-page CV, a two-page training or workshop description, a justified budget, and information on other funding; graduate students must also provide a research advisor’s letter of support. Complete proposals must be submitted as a single PDF by March 1 to AMS@amicros.org.
