About this program
The Summerlee Foundation offers grants of up to $10,000 through its Animal Protection Program to support research, rescue, rehabilitation, protection, and advocacy for animals. Priority areas include wildlife, accredited or verified animal sanctuaries, farmed-animal welfare, cat sterilization and Trap-Neuter-Return programs, dog sterilization initiatives, and emergency animal-cruelty cases. Applicants must be 501(c)(3) public charities, and animal sanctuaries must be accredited or verified by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries. Applications are due July 1, 2027.
