Ann Theodore Foundation Learning Opportunities in Medicine and Sarcoidosis (ATF-LOMAS)

About this program

The Ann Theodore Foundation, in partnership with the Milken Institute’s SPARC, will fund up to five two-year sarcoidosis research projects through the ATF-LOMAS initiative, providing up to $100,000 annually ($200,000 total) for innovative studies of the disease’s biology, epidemiology, immunology, and clinical mechanisms. Awardees will receive mentorship and career-development support. Applicants must be doctorate-level independent investigators within five years of their first faculty appointment, without an NIH R01, P01, P50, or comparable major grant, and must be based at eligible nonprofit academic or research institutions worldwide. Full proposals are due October 26, 2026; optional letters of intent are due July 23, 2026.
