AOF Disaster Relief Program

About this program

The American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF) offers one-time Disaster Relief grants of $150, $250, or $500 from its Disaster Relief Fund to assist practicing Osteopathic physicians and residents (DOs) impacted by qualifying natural disasters; applicants complete a short SurveyMonkey form and, if approved, payment is mailed within 48 business hours without requiring a W‑9 or additional reporting. Funding is limited and the AOF will close the application portal when funds are expended, though requests may be kept on file for future fulfillment if funds are replenished. Eligible applicants must have been members of the AOA and/or their Affiliate State Association within the last 18 months, live and/or work in a community affected by a FEMA-declared disaster in Q3 or Q4 2024 or Q1 2025, and provide a current medical license number; grants may be used for expenses not covered by insurance.
