APNA Memorial Scholarship

About this program

The American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) funds the APNA Memorial Scholarship—supported by memorial donations—to award two psychiatric‑mental health nurses complimentary registration, travel, and lodging to attend the APNA Annual Conference (e.g., the 40th Annual Conference, Oct 28–31, Phoenix). Eligible applicants must be active APNA members for at least two years, practice at the RN level, and demonstrate contributions to improving organizational performance and patient care along with ongoing professional self‑development. Applications are submitted via APNA’s online site and require brief essays (up to 200 words each) addressing impact and goals and a support statement from a reference (APNA membership of the reference is preferred); note the 2026 application period is closed.
