APSAD EMCR Award — Drug and Alcohol Review Most Cited Paper

About this program

The Australasian Professional Society on Alcohol and other Drugs (APSAD) annually awards the EMCR "Drug and Alcohol Review Most Cited Paper" to the APSAD early-to-mid-career researcher who is first author on the most-cited paper in Drug and Alcohol Review for the citation window contributing to the journal's most recent impact factor. The award is recognition-only (printed/PDF certificate) presented at the EMCR networking event at the annual APSAD Conference (or emailed if the winner cannot attend), with the winner identified from Wiley’s ranked lists of most-cited papers for the relevant impact-factor period. Eligible papers are original reports, brief reports or comprehensive reviews (letters/commentaries excluded), and a paper may only win once. Applicants must be APSAD members at the time of award and meet EMCR status at the time of publication (enrolled in a postgraduate degree, or within 15 years of the last postgraduate degree and working in the field as a researcher/scientist, with allowances for career disruptions); eligibility is confirmed via the APSAD EMCR membership database.
