The American Research Center in Egypt (ARCE), through its Antiquities Endowment Fund, offers the Archaeological Field Research Grant to support empirical archaeological fieldwork in Egypt on sites dated from prehistory to within the last 100 years. Awards cover up to one year of field costs—travel, accommodation, field staff, equipment, and salary for project directors and collaborating scholars—and recipients are expected to disseminate results via publications and other materials. Eligibility is limited to current ARCE Research Supporting Members (RSM), and proposed projects must involve empirical archaeological research in Egypt within the specified chronological range.
