About this program
The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) offers the Arctic Community Wildlife Grants Program to support conservation, stewardship, and research projects focused on coastal Arctic ecosystems, community sustainability, and priority wildlife species in the Bering, Chukchi, and Beaufort Seas regions. Grants of up to $25,000 per project per year are available for initiatives that demonstrate tangible benefits for ecosystems, wildlife, or habitats, involve Alaskan coastal communities, and align with WWF's Arctic conservation priorities. Eligible applicants include diverse U.S.-based entities such as community groups, Tribal councils, governments, universities, and NGOs, with no prior proposal writing experience required. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed quarterly.
