Arnold Ventures Criminal Justice Innovation Fellowship (Postdoctoral)

Arnold Ventures is offering Criminal Justice Innovation Postdoctoral Fellowships to support policy-relevant causal research that develops and evaluates cost-effective, scalable reforms to improve efficacy and equity in U.S. criminal justice; fellowships begin in September 2025 for up to two years and provide a $120,000 stipend plus a $30,000 supplement for benefits, research, and travel. Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. between September 2020 and September 2025 and conduct research relevant to U.S. criminal justice, with fellows expected to devote up to 25% of their time to Arnold Ventures projects and permitted to reside where they choose. Required materials are a current CV, a research paper, three letters of recommendation, and a proposed research agenda (maximum five single-spaced pages); applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
