AUGS Foundation Fellow and Junior Faculty 2-year Research Grants (Eligibility)

About this program

AUGS Foundation is offering 2-year research grants to launch early-career investigators’ work in urogynecology and female pelvic floor disorders. Applicants must be active AUGS members in Regular categories and have a senior research mentor or mentoring team; eligible fellow applicants include MD/DO fellows in urogynecology fellowship programs (accredited or non‑accredited), MD/DOs in a final residency year who have been accepted to a fellowship (with proof), PhD postdoctoral fellows, or those in other post‑degree training. Junior faculty applicants include MD/DO (±PhD) faculty at Instructor or Assistant Professor level or within five years of completing training (including practicing clinicians within five years post‑training) and PhD Assistant Professors; mentors/co‑investigators need not be AUGS members and only one application is allowed per cycle. Funded projects should remain at the same institution or include a detailed transition plan if the PI’s institutional tenure is shorter than the grant period, and prior AUGS Foundation grant recipients or candidates at Associate Professor/Professor rank or more than five years post‑training are ineligible as specified.
