The Australian Wildlife Society annually awards the Community Wildlife Conservation Award to a community group in Australia that has made a significant contribution to wildlife preservation, providing a $5,000 cash prize along with a trophy and certificate. Nominations are promoted via the Society’s website, social media, monthly newsletters and Australian Wildlife magazine and may be submitted through an online form or downloadable PDF. Submissions are accepted on a recurring annual basis, received by 31 December, with winners notified by email and announced and presented at the Society’s AGM/Luncheon.
