AVMF REACH Program®

About this program

The American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF), supported in part by Purina and other donors, provides REACH grants to reimburse charitable veterinary care for animals requiring immediate treatment when owners face financial hardship. Awards may cover up to $1,000 per case, with each AVMA member eligible for up to $1,000 annually and practices eligible to receive up to $5,000 per clinic address per year. Applicants must be current AVMA-member veterinarians and staff veterinarians at the submitting practice; care must have been provided within the previous two months, and pet owners may not apply directly. Elective procedures, routine preventive care, and treatment estimates are excluded.
