AWM Fellows Program

About this program

The Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) Fellows Program recognizes members who have demonstrated an outstanding, sustained commitment to supporting and advancing girls and women in the mathematical sciences. Fellows are honored at the AWM Reception during the Joint Mathematics Meetings each January; this is a recognition program rather than a financial award. Nominees must be living AWM members, regardless of nationality or citizenship, and typically have at least 15 years of career experience, including graduate study. Nominations are open to all nominators, including self-nominations, and require a nomination letter, two supporting letters (at least one from a current AWM member), a three-page CV, and a citation of no more than 50 words, submitted April 1–May 15 through MathPrograms.org.
