Battery Division Postdoctoral Associate Research Award

About this program

Sponsored by MTI Corporation and the Jiang Family Foundation through The Electrochemical Society’s Battery Division, this annual award recognizes postdoctoral researchers whose outstanding battery or fuel cell research demonstrates significant potential impact. One recipient receives a framed certificate, $2,000, and up to $1,000 in travel reimbursement to the ECS fall meeting. Nominees must be 35 or younger, current ECS and ECS Battery Division members, and lead or significantly contribute to a novel, scientifically excellent paper, including at least one publication in an ECS journal. Applications are due October 15–January 15 annually and must include an electronic nomination form, cover letter, postdoctoral advisor support letter, and relevant publication(s).
