BBRF Investigator Grants (Young, Independent, Distinguished)

About this program

The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation funds research on brain and behavioral health through three grant mechanisms: Young Investigator, Independent Investigator, and Distinguished Investigator awards. Young Investigator grants provide up to $35,000 per year for one or two years (maximum $70,000); Independent Investigator grants provide up to $50,000 per year for one or two years (maximum $100,000); Distinguished Investigator grants provide up to $100,000 for one year. Applicants must be at the specified career stage or equivalent (advanced postdoctoral/assistant professor for Young Investigator; associate professor for Independent; full professor for Distinguished) and propose research aligned with the Foundation’s mission; awards are selected by the Foundation’s Scientific Council.
